What Are Wisden Cricketers Almanacs

This is the first “guide” for cricket which was produced in 1864 by John Wisden and since there is a yearly publication. This almanac appeared first in salmon pink color but you can recognize it today for its yellow cover that appeared first in its 75th edition in 1938. The first person to appear in a cover was Michaul Vaugh in the year 2003.

The Wisden factory was destroyed in 1944 was located in Mortlake. It was destroyed by a bomb dropped by the German army in the Second World War. This destroyed all the records but it really didn’t make it suffer any loss of production since all the required information for contained within the existing almanac, there for the company managed to proceed with the production and never lost any important information.
